Lowlander botanical sodas
Beer brewer Lowlander has been brewing with herbs, spices and fresh fruit, or botanicals, for years. The beer range, which also includes a nature-positive gin, has been supplemented by botanical sodas as of Jan. 1, 2023. The ingredients in the Lowlander botanical sodas are brewed to allow the true flavors of fresh fruits, herbs and spices to speak naturally, which ensures that there is no need to add sugar. Thus, the sodas contain no added flavors, colors, preservatives and are low in sugar with less than 12 kcal per 100 ml. The Lowlander botanical sodas are launched in the flavors Ginger & Yuzu, Blood Orange & Bergamot and Rhubarb & Lavender.
Ginger & Yuzu is spicy and vibrant, Blood Orange & Bergamot is the fresher of the bunch, and Rhubarb & Lavender is floral and bold. The sodas are bottled in cans instead of "single use" bottles, which allows for better recycling and also creates fewer emissions. This contributes to Lowlander's Nature Positive mission.

Go Dry, Not Thirsty
Lowlander botanical sodas are a credible alternative to non-alcoholic beverages. Whether you participate in Dry January or consciously abstain from alcohol; "mindful drinking" is important for Dutch consumers. Lowlander's Chief Botanical Officer Frederik Kampman said, "As a botanical brewer, we have made it our mission from the beginning to offer a wide range of non-alcoholic alternatives." In addition to the new botanical sodas, Lowlander's no- range includes the non-alcoholic beers 0.00% White, Non-Alc I.P.A., Non-Alc Organic Blonde Ale, Non-Alc Cool Earth Lager, Non-Alc Tropical Ale and Non-Alc Winter I.P.A. Lowlander thus constitutes the largest non-alcoholic range of independent Dutch brewers.
